Terms of Service

1. Nature of the Platform

BookMyScrims is a community-management software platform built for esports organizers who run BGMI practice scrims. The platform automates operational activities such as match registration, slot booking, team management, leaderboard generation, room credential sharing, and ranking. The platform does not develop, host, distribute, sell, license, or operate any game. BGMI is owned and operated by Krafton, and is available through official channels such as Google Play Store and the App Store.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age, or such other minimum age as required by applicable law, to use BookMyScrims. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you agree to comply with all applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside.

3. XP Coins — Strictly Virtual

The platform operates exclusively on a virtual point system called XP Coins. XP Coins:

• are not real money, legal tender, or any form of currency;
• cannot be purchased from the platform or any third party;
• cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, sold, gifted, or transferred for any monetary value;
• cannot be exchanged for cash, goods, services, or any other consideration;
• exist only within a specific organizer's community and have no value outside it;
• are issued at the sole discretion of the organizer based on factors such as past performance, BGMI player statistics, team experience, and skill level;
• serve solely to maintain rankings, encourage competitive practice, and reflect player progression on leaderboards.

4. No Real-Money Gameplay

BookMyScrims does not host, facilitate, or enable any form of real-money gaming, gambling, betting, wagering, or staking. No entry fees, prize money, deposits, withdrawals, or financial transactions of any kind are processed through the platform in connection with gameplay. The platform contains no payment gateway integration for gameplay-related activities.

5. Registration and Participation

Players join an organizer's community by receiving an initial allocation of XP Coins from that organizer. Players use XP Coins to register for scrims within that organizer's ecosystem. If a scrim is cancelled (for example due to insufficient registered teams at IDP time), the entry XP is returned to the player's balance automatically within seconds. Players who perform well in announced results may gain XP; the distribution is set by the organizer at the time of scrim creation.

6. Organizer Responsibilities

Organizers must provide accurate scrim details, release in-game room credentials at the times they declared, upload match results promptly, and conduct themselves professionally. The platform makes operational tools available to organizers but is not responsible for the conduct of individual organizers or for disputes between organizers and players. Organizers determine eligibility, XP allocations, and disciplinary actions within their own communities.

7. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and reporting to law-enforcement authorities where applicable: cheating or use of unauthorized third-party tools in any game; harassment, abuse, hate speech, or threats; impersonation of another person or organization; creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions; attempting to compromise platform security; attempting to attach monetary value to XP Coins through informal arrangements or third-party platforms; any activity that violates applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

BGMI and all related trademarks, game assets, and intellectual property are the property of Krafton. BookMyScrims claims no ownership of, or affiliation with, Krafton or any game we reference for operational coordination. References to BGMI on the platform are descriptive only, identifying the game whose practice scrims our organizers coordinate.

9. Limitation of Liability

BookMyScrims is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The platform is not liable for: disputes between players and organizers; technical issues, downtime, or interruptions; the conduct, content, or decisions of organizers; loss of XP Coins from cancellations, adjustments, or organizer actions (since XP Coins have no monetary value, no compensation is payable in any case); any consequence arising from third-party services including but not limited to BGMI itself or messaging providers.

10. Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the platform.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from your use of the platform is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the city of the platform's registered office.
